Catherine Foster Ellison

Catherine Foster Ellison has a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art & Architecture from Middlebury College. Catherine has held various positions in the art world, including at Sotheby's and Christie's. At Sotheby's, Catherine currently serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Business Development, Americas, and Senior Vice President, Head of Department, Valuations. Prior to joining Sotheby's, Catherine worked at Christie's as Associate Vice President, Specialist, Head of Sale, American Art. Before that, Catherine gained experience at Hirschl & Adler Galleries as an Assistant in the Department of American Art.
