Chief Criminal Investigator - Scicac Commander at South Carolina Office of the Attorney General

Kevin Atkins is the Chief Criminal Investigator at the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office in the Internet Crimes Against Children unit and also serves as the Commander of the South Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. With a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from the same institution, Kevin has a strong educational background. Prior to their current role, Kevin worked as a Police Officer and Patrol Shift Sergeant at the Newberry Police Department, Investigative Lieutenant and Police Captain at the Newberry Police Department, Investigator at the Lexington County Sheriff's Department, and Adjunct Instructor at Lander University teaching Ethics in Criminal Justice Course.
