Jonathan Wegener

Jonathan Wegener is an accomplished entrepreneur and product designer with extensive experience in the tech and entertainment industries. As the founder of Wayback Labs since April 2025, Wegener is leveraging AI vision to enhance photo content beyond traditional metadata, building on previous success as CEO and co-founder of Timehop, which became a popular app with over 25 million users. Wegener also co-founded GoGoGames! and has held roles at Snap Inc. and as a business development manager at Pontiflex Inc. Wegener’s entrepreneurial journey includes various angel investments through JWeg Ventures LLC and a background in consulting and research stemming from education at Columbia University, where a BA in Neuroscience, Sociology, and Marketing was earned.
