Mukund Sudarshan

Mukund Sudarshan is an experienced technology professional specializing in machine learning and AI applications. Currently, Mukund serves as a Member of Technical Staff at Character.AI, focusing on post-training research and developing reward models to enhance user engagement and memory. Previously, Mukund co-founded and acted as CTO at Quilt Labs, where the emphasis was on AI for hedge funds, particularly in long/short equities. Mukund also held roles as a Founder Fellow at South Park Commons and a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Medical School. Earlier in the career, Mukund worked as a Research Assistant at Cornell University, a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs focusing on liquidity risk, and a Summer Associate at The Ayco Company, L.P. Mukund holds a PhD in Machine Learning from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University.
