Prior to this role, Dave Pelkey held the position of Vice President of Student Services at Renton Technical College from November 2011 to June 2014 and served as the Dean of Student and International Programs at Tacoma Community College from April 2003 to October 2011. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in College Leadership from Oregon State University, awarded from 2005 to 2008, and a degree from Western Washington University, completed between 1988 and 1991.
