Steve Foster is currently the People Director at Southeastern Railway, previously serving as the Employee Relations Director at Network Rail. Steve has held various HR roles with a focus on organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee relations throughout their career at companies such as Stagecoach Bus Holdings Limited, London North Eastern Railway, South West Trains, and Transport for London. Steve has a degree in Sociology from Reading University.

Southeastern runs train services into London from Kent and East Sussex, operating some 1600 trains a day, carrying more than 400,000 passengers each weekday, serving 180 stations and covering 450 miles of track. We operate one of the busiest networks in the country including the UK’s first domestic high speed service with Javelin trains. SOUTHEASTERN is owned by SE Trains Ltd, a subsidiary of the Department for Transport’s public sector owning group, ‘DOHL.’ DOHL has responsibility for three rail companies, LNER, Northern Trains Limited and SE Trains.
