Glenn A Monk

Glenn A Monk is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in culinary arts and hospitality management. Currently serving as a Chef and Culinary Instructor at SAIT Polytechnic since August 2014, Glenn develops and trains students toward their Red Seal certification as cooks. In parallel, Glenn holds the position of Executive Chef and F&B Director at Innvision Hospitality Resource Group, where responsibilities include envisioning, designing, developing, and starting up kitchens and food and beverage operations in boutique and multi-outlet hotels and resorts. Previous roles include Executive Chef at Aman Resorts - Amankora in Bhutan, Director de Gastronomía at Mundo Imperial, and F&B Director at several prestigious resorts, including Poets Cove Resort & Spa and Chateau Whistler Resort. Glenn's culinary career spans several countries, with earlier experience as Executive Chef at Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts. Educational qualifications include a CCC in Culinary Arts from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Guelph.
