Carrie Gammell

Carrie Gammell is an experienced academic and architect currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, beginning in August 2023, and as a Teaching Fellow at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design since September 2022. Gammell has extensive teaching experience, having held various teaching positions at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design and cityLAB UCLA, as well as consulting as a Teaching Assistant at SCI-Arc. Gammell's professional background includes roles as a Studio Instructor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and as an editor for significant academic publications. Previous architectural experience includes project design at Forge Craft Architecture + Design and work with RIR arquitectos on various international projects. Gammell is pursuing a PhD in Architecture at UCLA, following a Master's degree in Design Studies with a focus on Critical Conservation from Harvard and a Bachelor's in Architecture from Rice University.
