Mark Banash

Mark Banash is an experienced professional in the fields of chemistry and materials science, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor for Southern New Hampshire University since August 2024, where the focus is on teaching a course in 'Characterization of Materials.' As President of Neotericon LLC since February 2019, Mark offers scientific and technical consulting to the nanomaterials sector. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at AvCarb Material Solutions and Vice President & Chief Scientist at Nanocomp Technologies, where expertise in process improvement and analytics was developed. Mark also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at University of Maryland, University College, teaching web-based courses on business process design. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University and an MBA in Teaching from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
