Kristen Hencke Barrett is an experienced professional in environmental management and conservation, currently serving as the Adult Programs Manager for Southwest Conservation Corps since October 2021 and previously holding the position of Program Coordinator. Kristen has a strong background with the U.S. Forest Service from April 2019 to December 2021 as a Forestry Technician and Crew Leader, and earlier experience as a Sustainable Forestry Crew Leader and Crew Member at Southwest Conservation Corps. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Environmental Management focusing on Integrative and Public Land Management from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Fort Lewis College, where Kristen was also involved as the Campus Sustainability Team Coordinator and Adventure Education Assistant.
