Mike Loucks is the CEO of Space Exploration Engineering (SEE), an aerospace consulting firm that they co-founded in 1995. SEE specializes in mission design, specifically in deep space and cis-lunar trajectories. Prior to SEE, they worked as a Systems Engineer for Orbital Sciences Corporation and performed various engineering and management tasks. Mike was also a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado, Boulder. In addition to their role at SEE, Loucks has held positions at Blastoff!, Golden Spike, and the B612 Foundation, where they currently work on the Asteroid Decision Analysis Machine (ADAM) project.
Mike Loucks, CEO at SEE, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics/Astronomy from Whitman College, which they earned from 1981 to 1985. Prior to that, from 1977 to 1981, they attended Blanchet High School. Mike also pursued a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering Sciences with a focus on Astrodynamics from the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating between 1988 and 1992. Additionally, they briefly attended the Florida Institute of Technology in 1986. Mike's earliest education took place at Our Lady of Fatima from 1969 to 1977.
