Julia Silva

Julia Silva is a seasoned professional in service design and user experience, currently serving as Lead Service Designer and squad lead at BJSS since March 2022, primarily focusing on public sector clients including the NHS. Prior to this role, Julia managed a team of UX/UI designers at Yorkshire Building Society, where significant team growth and implementation of user experience awareness took place during the COVID pandemic. Julia's background also includes positions as a Senior UX Designer at Sky, where comprehensive research and design workshops were conducted, and as a UX Consultant at Portugal Telecom, emphasizing usability improvements. Academically, Julia holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico.
