Jim Borst is an accomplished Quality Assurance Manager at Specialty Product Technologies, responsible for managing Quality Systems compliant with ISO9001 and 10CFR50 Appendix B standards for the nuclear sector since August 2015. Prior to this role, Jim served as Manufacturing Engineering Manager, overseeing three engineering groups. Previously, Jim worked at Gems Sensors from January 2005 to August 2015 in multiple roles including Engineering Manager for the Engineering Services Group, where responsibilities included managing Production/Sustaining Engineering and supporting product evaluations. Jim also held positions as Product Sales Manager and Medical Program Manager, focusing on key medical OEM customers. Early career experience includes working as a Product Specialist at Danaher Corp and as Aerospace Program Manager at GE-Druck, ensuring product qualification and compliance. Jim holds an MBA in Business and Marketing from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from (Teikyo) Post University.
