Dennis Witz possesses extensive experience in the field of spectrometry and remote sensing. Currently, at Spectral Evolution since 2004, Witz designs and manufactures a range of UV-Vis-NIR-SWIR spectrometers and spectroradiometers used in various applications, including environmental monitoring and mineral identification. Prior to this role, Witz served as the Biomedical Systems Group Leader at PerkinElmer, managing engineering teams and development projects for clinical diagnostic and industrial processes. Additionally, Witz directed engineering and business development at GER Corporation for field portable spectroradiometers and airborne hyperspectral imaging systems, focusing on environmental research. Witz began a career at Coulter Electronics as a Field Service Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
