Justin Borthwick

Justin Borthwick has a diverse work experience in the field of systems engineering and technical support. Justin started their career at the University of Wyoming, where they worked as a Senior Systems Programmer/Administrator and gained expertise in maintaining enterprise networks and implementing wireless systems.

Afterwards, Justin worked at Southern Kansas Telephone, where they served as a Network Engineer, providing pre-sales engineering support, leading engineering teams, and offering post-sales support and consultation for IP voice and network infrastructure deployments.

Justin then joined ISC, Inc. as an Installation/Customer Engineer, Senior, where they deployed VoIP and network infrastructures for multiple customers and designed best practice-based networks.

At Polycom, Inc., Justin worked as a Manager, Wireless Escalation Support, managing a support team, mentoring technical service representatives, and maintaining relationships with engineering/product development and partners.

Later, they joined Spectralink Corporation as the Manager of Escalations & Training before transitioning to the role of Director of Technical Support. In this position, Justin managed the services organization, collaborated with technical teams globally, and established partnerships with business partners.

Currently, Justin works at Spectralink Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant. Justin utilizes their people management experience to interact effectively with customers and provide appropriate communication while solving challenging issues and creating complex solutions for unique business needs in unified communications and wireless voice communications.

Justin Borthwick attended the University of Wyoming from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Geology, and Chemistry at the University of Wyoming.
