Lee Smith

Lee Smith has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and diagnostics. Lee started their career as a Researcher at The University of Western Australia in 2001 and remained in this role until 2012. After that, they joined AusDiagnostics as the Head of Research, a position they held until 2020. In April 2020, Lee Smith began working at SpeeDx Pty Ltd as a Principal Scientist.

Lee Smith completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with Biotechnology from the University of Birmingham from 1987 to 1990. In 1997, they pursued a Master's Degree in Infection at the University of Birmingham. From 1998 to 2001, Smith attended Flinders University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology.
