Razvan Albu

Razvan Albu has a strong background in scientific research, with experience in various roles and organizations. Razvan is currently working as a Research Scientist at SpeeDx Pty Ltd, starting in November 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Research Assistant at Children's Medical Research Institute from April 2019 to March 2021. Before that, they served as a Science Instructor at STEM ACES in July 2018. Razvan also worked as a Research Scientist at Applied Biological Materials - abm from September 2015 to April 2018. Razvan gained experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of British Columbia from February 2013 to June 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at University of Stuttgart from December 2011 to October 2012 and at Jacobs University Bremen from June 2009 to November 2011.

Razvan Albu began their education in 2000 at Colegiul National "Gheorghe Munteanu Murgoci", where they obtained their Baccalaureat degree with a specialization in Mathematics and Computer Science, with a focus on the English Language.

In 2004, Razvan Albu enrolled in Jacobs University Bremen and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. They completed their undergraduate degree in 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Razvan Albu continued their education at Jacobs University Bremen and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biological Recognition, which took place from 2007 to 2009.

Razvan Albu further pursued their academic journey at Jacobs University Bremen and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, completing their doctoral studies in 2012.
