Vegard Alme Ulstein

Vegard Alme Ulstein is a highly experienced technical and design manager specializing in structural engineering, currently holding dual roles at Spenncon AS since September 2018, where management of the structural engineering department occurs across the Trondheim and Hjørungavåg offices. Simultaneously, Vegard serves as Universitetslektor II at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) since March 2022, focusing on research and lecturing on precast concrete structures. Prior to these roles, Vegard spent over a decade at Multiconsult from 2007 to 2018, leading business development in East Africa for oil and gas projects while also managing various structural and civil engineering projects. Earlier experience includes a part-time lecturing position at Addis Ababa University and civil engineering roles with a focus on structural calculations and design. Vegard holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and additional advanced degrees from Addis Ababa University and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, complemented by a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Ålesund University College.
