Arron McQuade

Arron McQuade is a Mechanical Test Technician at Spire since July 2023, focusing on GSE fixture design and qualification as well as providing manufacturing support for environmental testing. Previously, Arron worked as a Test Engineer at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. from September 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included supporting test programs, diagnosing test equipment faults, and enhancing electrical systems through new design integrations while operating PLM systems such as Oracle and Windchill. Arron's earlier experience includes a role as a Test Solutions Technician at Leonardo, where electrical design for system test hardware, including the creation of procurement specifications, was a key focus, along with an apprenticeship in design engineering. Educational qualifications include a current BEng (Hons) in Engineering Design and Manufacture from the University of Strathclyde, along with various engineering degrees from Edinburgh College and Glasgow Clyde College.
