Kevin Donovan

Kevin Donovan has over a decade of experience in aerospace and mechanical engineering, currently serving as a CDG/CNC Programmer in the Composite Design Group at Spirit AeroSystems since February 2011. Responsibilities include creating and manipulating 3D engineering models, developing complex 6-axis programs, and collaborating with customers to ensure quality standards and accurate project delivery. Prior to this role, Kevin worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at AAR Corp., where responsibilities encompassed redrawing prints in AutoCAD and creating solid models for NC programming. Kevin's career began at Caterpillar Inc. as a Mechanic, focusing on the assembly and quality inspection of backhoe tractors. Kevin holds an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne Community College and has furthered education at the National Institute for Aviation Research.
