Matt Block is an experienced professional in the music production and licensing industry. Currently serving as the Head of Music Production at Splice since September 2018, Matt holds multiple roles including Director of In-House Production and Senior Manager of In-House Labels. As a co-founder of La Reserve Records, a creative music management company, Matt specializes in marketing, distribution, and sync licensing. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Music Licensing at Flavorlab, where Matt managed a large catalog of artists and composers, developed strategic partnerships, and liaised with performance rights organizations. Additionally, Matt has worked as a freelance composer and music supervisor, contributing to projects such as the short film "KNIGHTSVILLE." An alumnus of Brown University with a degree in Music Theory, Composition, and History, Matt has also held various internships that enriched skills in music production and management.
