Dean Hodgkinson has extensive experience in release engineering and automation, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Release Automation Engineer at Sportvision and an Automation Engineer at SMT since May 2011, Dean has developed a robust skill set in automating deployment processes for multi-server environments. Previous roles include Senior Release Engineer/Engineering Tools Developer at Rearden Commerce Inc, where Dean automated deployment processes and maintained build systems, and Senior Release Engineer positions at Excell Data Corporation and WagerWorks, Inc, focusing on the enhancement of build and deployment processes. Earlier in Dean's career, management positions at FrontRange Solutions and HealthRamp, Inc involved overseeing software builds and packaging for major products. The journey began at Silicon Graphics, Inc as a Build and Release Engineer, followed by roles in animation and customer support in the 1980s. Dean holds educational qualifications from California College of the Arts and The University of New Mexico.
