Bryan Ball

Bryan Ball has held a variety of positions in the data science field. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Actuarial Modeling Intern at Transamerica and a Data Scientist at The Loadown. Bryan then served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from 2013 to 2014, and a Data Science Intern at Revionics from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they began working at Capital One as a Senior Associate, Data Science and also became a Graduate Teaching Fellow at NYU Stern School of Business. Since 2016, they have been a Partner and Managing Director of Data Science at Springfield Capital Management LLC.

Bryan Ball attended the University of Maryland from 2006 to 2010 where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Non-Degree Seeking Student at the University of Maryland. In 2013, they enrolled in New York University where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Data Science in 2015.
