Emre Yılmaz is a Senior Computer Scientist at SRI International since June 2020, with a background that includes roles as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from June 2018 to March 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Radboud University from July 2015 to May 2018. Emre has also held positions as a Visiting Researcher at Stellenbosch University and SRI International in 2018 and 2017, respectively, and was a Visiting PhD Student at Carnegie Mellon University in 2014. Earlier experience includes a role as Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at RWTH Aachen University in 2010. Emre Yılmaz holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven, obtained between 2011 and 2015, as well as two Master's degrees from RWTH Aachen University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, completed in 2008.
