The hourly rate for this internship is $20.  This internship is for a minimum of 50 hours per credit (if applicable) and is anticipated to be no more than 300 hours.   

This is a hybrid position with in-person and remote schedule flexibility based out of Denver, CO with an anticipated start date on or about January 13, 2025 and end date on or about May 16, 2025.

M&A Legal Intern Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist M&A Counsel with reviewing acquisition agreements, escrow agreements, paying agent agreements, engagement letters and other related transactional agreements
  • Research and draft internal memoranda on various M&A legal topics and assist M&A Counsel with thought leadership articles and resources
  • Draft and implement internal resources to support M&A Counsel and business functions
  • Other duties as assigned

M&A Legal Intern Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2L or 3L with a strong academic record from a nationally ranked, accredited law school
  • Transactional legal experience preferred
  • Completion of courses in corporate law, mergers & acquisition and/or contract drafting preferred
