Jan Eckerlid

Jan Eckerlid is a seasoned professional in the steel industry, currently serving as the Technical Development Manager for Sweden North and Norway at SSAB Special Steels since January 2021. Prior to this role, Jan held the position of Technical Director for North and East Europe at SSAB Special Steels from January 2018 to January 2022 and served as the Manager of Encapsulation Technology at Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (SKB) from April 2012 to January 2018. Jan Eckerlid holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, obtained between 1987 and 1992.
