Lilian Y. Zhou

Lilian Y. Zhou currently serves as an Independent Board Director at STAAR Surgical, where responsibilities include chairing the Audit Committee and the Capital Stewardship Committee, as well as membership in the Nominating and Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee. Additionally, Lilian is a Board Member for the New York Chapter of Make-A-Wish America. From May 2013 to June 2023, Lilian founded and led Yulan Capital Management as CEO and CIO, focusing on global equities investments in consumer, healthcare, technology, and industrials sectors, and received the Investors’ Choice Awards for Long Term Performance. Previous roles include positions in Equities Investments at Citadel LLC, as Director of Investments at Kelusa Capital, and Vice President at Bear Stearns, among others. Lilian holds an MBA in Finance and General Management from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics and Math-Stat from Columbia University, along with various professional certifications.
