Neema Ngumbau J.d.

Neema Ngumbau, J.D., currently serves as the Manager of Corporate Governance at Stand Together, a role held since November 2020. Prior experience includes serving as the Global Coordinator for Governance, Legal and Risk at International Justice Mission from May 2018 to November 2020, and working as a Legal Research Associate at Bloomberg BNA between April 2017 and February 2018. Neema has also gained experience as a Law Clerk for the Special Victims Unit at the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office and as a Research Assistant at Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2015. Additional legal experience includes a Summer Legal Intern position at International Justice Mission where research focused on Zambian law and criminal prosecution. Prior to legal roles, Neema was a Foreign Language Instructor with the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science and coordinated mission trips through Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Kenya. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, with double minors in International Studies and Psychology from the University of North Texas.
