Heidi Burton is an experienced journalist and editor with a background in print journalism and communications. Currently serving as the Assistant Entertainment Editor and Copy Editor at the Standard-Examiner since August 2013, Heidi supervises staff reporters and freelance writers to produce the weekly entertainment section, managing content selection and story assignments. Previous roles at the Standard-Examiner include Community News Editor and a combination of reporter and copy desk paginator. Early career experience includes positions as Campus News Editor and News Editor at The Utah Statesman during their studies at Utah State University, where Heidi earned a degree in Communications with a major in print journalism and a minor in speech communication.
