Jeff Hancock is a prominent academic currently serving as the Harry and Norman Chandler Professor of Communication at Stanford University since July 2015 and is also the Founder and Director of the Stanford Social Media Lab. Previously, Jeff Hancock held various faculty positions at Cornell University from August 2002 to July 2015, culminating in a professorship. Jeff Hancock earned a PhD in Psychology from Dalhousie University between 1997 and 2002 and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology at the University of Victoria from 1993 to 1996.
