David Kang

David Kang currently serves as Corporate Counsel at Stanley 1913 since April 2024, following a similar role at Tektronix from May 2021 to April 2024, where responsibilities included leading corporate legal functions and spearheading international privacy compliance initiatives. Earlier experience includes a Review Attorney position at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where service agreements were assessed, and a role as an Attorney at Reed Pruett Walters Larsen PLLC, focusing on business formation and acquisitions. David also served as an In-House Staff Attorney at Kosmos by EchoNous, managing privacy compliance and drafting legal agreements. Additional roles include e-DAT Lawyer at K&L Gates, Project Counsel with Daniel Shin, Board Member at Koeun, Inc., and legal internships at the Ronald A. Peterson Consumer Protection Clinic and Pierce County Superior Court. Educationally, David holds a Masters of Law in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Washington School of Law and has earned degrees from Seattle University School of Law and UCLA, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Washington.
