Heinz Ruch

Heinz Ruch, a hearing industry veteran of more than 25 years, serves as Starkey’s Chief Operations Officer. In this role, Heinz Ruch leads Starkey’s global manufacturing, supply chain, and product and service delivery teams.

Heinz Ruch uses his leadership and industry expertise to develop and align Starkey’s global Operations team to deliver better hearing through quality products and fulfill the mission statement of serving the customers better than anyone else. Heinz Ruch joined Starkey in February 2020 with 24 years of hearing industry experience and leadership. He is the former president and CEO of a major U.S. hearing aid retailer and held executive and leadership positions in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Hungary at some of the world’s leading industry organizations. Specifically, Heinz Ruch has experience leading hearing aid manufacturing teams to build quality products, improve delivery performance, achieve positive cash flow, and grow market share.

Heinz Ruch received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the ZHAW University of Applied Sciences, and his Commercial Banking Diploma from UBS, Zurich, Switzerland. He became a U.S. citizen in 2018 and is fluent in English, German, and French.
