Sven Anderson

Sven Anderson has over three decades of progressive experience in public administration and management, currently serving as the Oregon Surplus Property Manager at the Oregon Department of Administrative Services since May 2010, overseeing a budget exceeding $6 million. Prior roles include Renewable Energy Manager at the Oregon Department of Energy, where Sven managed a $1 million grant program and led a technical team to develop renewable energy systems, and District Manager at the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, responsible for the stewardship of numerous state parks. Early career experiences include leadership roles in operations and administration at the State of Oregon's Adult and Family Services and positions in ticket sales at Mt. Bachelor Ski & Summer Resort. Sven holds a Bachelor of Science in Leisure Studies & Services from the University of Oregon and an Associate of Arts from Central Oregon Community College.
