Nate Collins has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Executive Director of Student Services at Staunton City Schools since July 2017. Previously, Nate held the position of High School Principal at Gloucester County Public Schools from July 2014 to June 2017, where responsibilities included leading approximately 140 staff members in a high school with an enrollment of 1800 students. Prior to that, Nate served as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction at New Kent County Public Schools from February 2008 to June 2014, overseeing K-12 instructional programs for a division with 3000 students and 225 instructional staff. Earlier roles include Director of Secondary Instruction and Principal at Augusta County Public Schools from January 2006 to January 2008. Nate Collins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Economics from William & Mary, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Virginia Tech.
