Steve Gillespie has over 20 years of work experience in finance and supply chain management. Steve currently serves as the Finance Director at Staysure Group. Before that, they held the position of Finance and Supply Chain Director at Wolseley UK and Saint-Gobain. At Saint-Gobain, they also worked as a Financial Controller. Prior to that, Steve was a Senior Commercial Accountant at Travis Perkins and a Group Commercial Accountant at Lloyd Fraser Group. Their earlier roles include being a Commercial Manager at NFT Distribution Operations Ltd and an Assistant Accountant at Christian Salvesen.
Steve Gillespie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northampton from 1999 to 2002. In addition, they have certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Cardiff University and ACMA CGMA from CIMA, obtained in 2011 and 2009 respectively.
