Michael Wooddell has over 15 years of experience in the steel manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Melt/Cast Operations Supervisor at Steel Dynamics, Inc. since December 2016, where previous roles included Melt/Cast Shift Supervisor and Process Engineer at Iron Dynamics. Prior to this, Michael worked at ArcelorMittal Steelton from October 2007 to December 2016, holding positions as Area Manager for the Ingot Facility and Process Engineer. Michael holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, both obtained from Virginia Tech.

Finishing facilities at the Butler mill and in Jeffersonville, IN, produce pickled, cold roll, galvanized, and painted flat roll steel.
