Zef Even is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in European labor law. Since January 2009, Zef Even has served as a Partner at SteensmaEven. Concurrently, Zef Even holds a Professorship in European labor law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where involvement spans from Associate Professor to PhD supervision, focusing on transnational collective bargaining in Europe. Zef Even's editorial roles include Editor in Chief of European Employment Law Cases, Editor of Tijdschrift Arbeidsrecht in Context, and past Editor of Tijdschrift Arbeid en Onderneming and TAP. Zef Even is also a board member of Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland and has contributed as a lecturer in various post-academic programs. Prior professional experience includes a decade as a Senior Associate at Simmons & Simmons, specializing in Employment & Benefits. Zef Even obtained a Master’s degree in Private & Criminal Law from Universiteit van Utrecht.
