Brian Gardner

Brian Gardner is a seasoned policy strategist and analyst with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief Washington Policy Strategist at Stifel Financial Corp. since September 2020, Gardner previously held the position of Managing Director at Keefe Bruyette & Woods for over 18 years. Demonstrating a strong background in public policy, Gardner has also worked as a congressional staffer for members of the House Financial Services Committee and as an attorney at the law firm Schulte Roth & Zabel. Additionally, Gardner has a diverse background as a captain of a passenger vessel and in various legislative roles, including Staff Director and Legislative Assistant. Gardner obtained an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Fordham University and furthered education at Fordham University School of Law and the Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
