Aaron Ewall-Wice is a highly experienced algorithm engineer currently serving as the Lead Algorithm Engineer at STR since February 2023. Prior to this role, Aaron held the position of BCCP Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from September 2019 to February 2023, and was a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from September 2017 to September 2019. Aaron's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where studies took place from 2011 to 2017, following a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Chicago obtained in 2011.
