Nicole Thomas currently serves as the Manager of Environmental Assessments and Approvals at Strum Consulting, where responsibilities include leading growth initiatives in Newfoundland and Labrador and overseeing a team of technical experts to enhance client services. Previous experience includes a role as Environment and Sustainability Manager at Heidelberg Materials North America, focusing on operational permitting and stakeholder consultations, along with a self-employed position as an Environmental Consultant. Earlier in their career, Nicole held roles such as Renewable Resources Manager at Gwich'in Renewable Resources Board and Environmental Assessment Specialist at Sahtu Renewable Resources Board, where Nicole assessed land use applications and facilitated communication among stakeholders. Nicole began their career as a Biologist with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador after earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Memorial University.
