Abby Brokaw currently serves as the Program Manager at the Student Conservation Association, overseeing DC Area Programs and coordinating a variety of conservation and educational activities for over 1,000 participants. Brokaw's extensive experience includes previous roles as Program Coordinator and Program Assistant within the same organization, providing essential support for project delivery. Additional experience encompasses leading trail work and educational initiatives with urban youth as a Community Crew Leader and participating in public lands restoration projects. Earlier positions included customer service at Casual Adventure Outfitter and internships focusing on garden education and organic farming practices. Brokaw holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The College of Wooster and is currently advancing leadership skills through the Chesapeake Regional Fellowship and the Rockwood Leadership Institute.
