Hugo Carvalho

Hugo Carvalho is an experienced ROV Pilot Technician currently employed at Subsea7 since July 2023, specializing in the operation of QX Ultra and Centurion SP vehicles and Titan4 and Rig Master manipulators. Prior to this, Hugo worked at Actemium Brasil as an Offshore Instrumentation Technician, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various measuring and control instruments on Petrobras platforms. Previous roles include Instrumentista Escalador N1 at Actemium, where tasks involved working with electrical and mechanical instruments using rope access methods, and positions at ELFE, TestTorque, and Mistras South America focusing on instrument management, quality inspection, and non-destructive testing. Hugo began a career at Ferroport, operating erosion machines and managing iron ore storage and loading processes. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ISECENSA and ongoing postgraduate studies in Submarine Engineering at Faculdade Unyleya. Technical training includes a degree in Industrial Automation from Escola Técnica de Campos.
