Matt Klein

Matt Klein is a seasoned professional in product communications and account management with a diverse background in user experience design, community engagement, and web design. Currently serving as the Product Communications Manager at Substack since September 2024, Matt previously held multiple roles at Outcast from August 2021 to September 2024, including Account Executive and Assistant Account Executive. Notable earlier experiences include UX Designer and Community Engagement Lead at The Farmlink Project, where collaboration with IDEO and mobilization of over 1,000 volunteers took place. Additional roles at the Climate Action Lab, David Kim for U.S. Congress, and Disney Parks contributed to expertise in digital content creation and user research. Matt holds a degree in Conservation and Resource Studies with a focus on Sustainable Product Design from the University of California, Berkeley, and has furthered education in fashion and product design through various institutions.
