Monte Wright

Monte Wright has over two decades of experience in food and nutrition services, currently serving as General Manager of the School Nutrition Program at Sumner County Schools since October 2016. Previous roles include Food Service Manager at TriStar Summit Medical Center, Dining Services Coordinator at Brookdale Senior Living, and Director of Dietary Services at Signature Healthcare. Monte demonstrated expertise in improving patient satisfaction and employee engagement while occupying leadership positions at various medical facilities, including NorthCrest Medical Center and Hendersonville Medical Center. Early career roles involved serving as Director of Nutritional Services at Sumner Regional Health Systems and Director of Food and Nutrition Services for ARAMARK Healthcare, highlighting a strong foundation in food service management and compliance. Monte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Hospitality Management from Purdue University.
