James Ng

James Ng is an experienced engineering professional with a specialization in process engineering within the oil and gas industry. With a career spanning over three decades, James has held various positions at Suncor since September 2011, including Specialist Project Engineer, Manager of Process Engineering and Development, and Senior Process Engineer at the Edmonton Refinery. Key responsibilities include the scoping and front-end design of refinery improvement projects as well as process engineering for the MCP delayed coker unit. Prior to Suncor, James worked at WorleyParsons as a Senior Process Engineer focused on oilsands upgrader site support and the design of a renewable fuels demonstration plant. James began the professional journey at Petro-Canada, where multiple roles were undertaken, including Engineering Specialist for oilsands operations and Senior Process Engineer in various refinery capacities. James holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
