Wes Heck

Wes Heck has extensive experience in facilities management and operational planning, currently serving at Suncor Energy since August 2009 in various managerial roles, including Manager of Facilities for Corporate, Downstream, and Upstream operations. Responsibilities encompass space planning, compliance, and overseeing capital projects at the Suncor-Fort Hills site. Previously, Wes held the position of Director of Residential Services at Canalta Developments, managing property operations and upgrades, along with designing supportive living facilities for seniors. Earlier career experience includes serving as Regional Manager of Recreation Therapy at Alberta Health Services, where Wes focused on rehabilitation for acute care clients and collaborated with multiple therapy departments. Wes holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Red Deer Polytechnic.
