Dimitris Bollas has extensive work experience in various roles related to research and development, production, quality assurance, and environmental management. From January 2008 to June 2012, they worked as a Production Manager at POLIECO HELLAS AEBE. Later, from June 2012 to September 2020, they joined Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, where they held different positions, including Production Supervisor and Head of Quality and Product Development. Additionally, from December 2013 to September 2020, Dimitris worked as a Quality Manager at SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT S.A. Dimitris then progressed to Senior Manager and R&D Lead Technologies and QHSE Division for Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems from October 2019 to February 2022. Currently, they are the R&D Lead Acid and Production Director at the same company, starting in February 2022.
Dimitris Bollas obtained a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 1994 and 2000. Dimitris pursued a PhD in Polymer Science and Technology at the University of Patras from 2000 to 2006. Later, in 2010 to 2012, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Macedonia.
