Alexis Kawalec

Alexis Kawalec is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently employed at Maywood Public Schools since July 2023 and serving as an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist at Sunny Days since March 2021. Previously, Alexis worked at Ridgefield High School as an Occupational Therapist from April to June 2023 and at Ivy Rehab for Kids from July 2021 to July 2022. Short-term roles included coverage positions at Wayne Township Public Schools and Maywood Public Schools in 2021. Alexis gained foundational skills during graduate studies at LIU Brooklyn, completing a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from 2017 to 2020 while participating in various student placements, including telehealth services and working with children with diverse diagnoses. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Syracuse University, obtained in 2011.
