Daniel Wakeland

Daniel Wakeland is a seasoned product development professional with extensive experience in the outdoor sporting goods and recreational industries. Currently serving as Senior Product Development Manager at Superfeet Worldwide since February 2012, Daniel focuses on creating innovative products that enhance people’s lives. Prior roles include Business Unit Manager and Product Manager at RV-ID, Inc., where Daniel contributed to the development of a patented tracking system for high-value assets, as well as VP Operations at Tabar Inc., overseeing OEM specialty glove design. Daniel's background also includes significant positions at REI as Product Line Manager for outdoor apparel, General Manager at Ibis Cycles, and Managing Director for Trek Bicycle in Switzerland. Daniel holds an MIM/MBA in International Business from the American Graduate School of International Management, along with executive education in Product Management from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and dual degrees in French and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
