Jason Cochran is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and strategic growth across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at sweetgreen since April 2025, Cochran is deeply involved in the supply chain and brand development. Previously, as Chief Executive Officer of American West Restaurant Group from September 2022 to April 2025, Cochran oversaw the third largest Pizza Hut franchisee in the U.S., focusing on aggressive expansion. At Chipotle Mexican Grill from November 2018 to August 2022, Cochran held the position of Vice President of Operations, managing over 3,000 locations with significant revenue. Earlier in their career, at GameStop from January 2008 to October 2018, Cochran served in multiple senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of U.S. Stores and Vice President of Store Operations. Jason Cochran holds two Master of Business Administration degrees in Accounting and Finance from the SMU Cox School of Business and Southern Methodist University.
